Owing to a power cut, Wimborne Win on Waste was held for some of the time outside the Library on a cold Saturday 5 January at Wimborne Library. Thanks to kind staff they were kept warm with drinks. The weather didn’t dampen the donation fever as 46 carrier bags of items were received from 95 households which will go to help 15 good causes.
There may have been a slow start to this now regular monthly session at Parkstone Library but the 13 carrier bags of items donated are still helping 13 good causes rather than end up in the bin.
We received items from 26 households on Saturday 5 January at Hamworthy Win on Waste held at Hamworthy Library. A record for this growing session. 11 good causes have been helped by the 19 carrier bags of waste. Photo shows some of the items donated.

174 households donated items at Broadstone Win on Waste on 5 January with people queuing to the main door of Broadstone Library! 69.5 carrier bags of waste were received and these will be helping 14 good causes. Photo shows just some of the bags.

Southbourne had another great turnout out despite the awful weather on Saturday 15 December at Southbourne Library. Their donations are helping 11 good causes. Photos show sorting and donating in progress!

Merley Win on Waste held at The Lantern Church on Saturday 15 December received items from 33 households, plus donations from Bearwood School and a food company. The items are helping 10 good causes.
69 households donated at Oakdale Win on Waste on Saturday 15 December at Oakdale Library, plus staff at Magna Academy donated three A4 boxes of used pens. Altogether the items will be helping 11 good causes.
