A new directory for Dorset

Does your charity or voluntary organisation need anything that people may be throwing away? For example for your fundraising (mobile phones, printer ink cartridges) or service delivery (craft items like corks or yoghurt pots)?   If so you may like a free entry in a new recycling directory we are producing on behalf of Dorset Waste Partnership called We Need That – Dorset.  Entries are welcome from any not-for-profit organisations based or working in the Dorset Waste Partnership area.  Individuals who will use the items for their own use or to sell and donate the profits to a not-for-profit organisation are also welcome in the directory.  See Projects/We Need That-Dorset for more information.

Kilos of keys – 9 kilos in fact

Thanks to the kind donations received from people who attend Win on Waste sessions, we were able to hand over 9 kilos of keys and padlocks to George of Carter Shaw Estate Agents on 15 June.  The keys will be sold and the money given to Routes to Roots, a Poole-based charity supporting homeless people.
