Although Livability Holton Lee doesn’t have a specified day for collecting items of waste they are still doing well with people dropping the items off. Last month and some of this they received 11 carrier bags of waste from 35 households.

Merley Win on Waste receives 35 bags of waste
The Merley Win on Waste session held in the Lantern Church on Saturday 19 January received 35 carrier bags of items from 49 households including businesses. All the items will now be helping 16 good causes. Another great result.
Southbourne Win on Waste have another great turnout
Items of waste from 178 households including businesses were received at Southbourne Win on Waste on Saturday 19 January in Southbourne Library. The 57 carrier bags of waste will be helping 16 good causes rather than end up in the bin. Here’s a photo showing just a few of the items.

There is no Ashley Cross session this Saturday as it took place earlier this month.
51 carrier bags of waste donated at Oakdale Win on Waste
We received the equivalent of 51 carrier bags of waste from 79 households (plus a school) at Oakdale Win on Waste on Saturday 19 January at Oakdale Library Library. All the items will be helping 13 good causes.
19kilos of used pens from Winton and St Aldhelm’s Schools
19 kilos of used pens have been donated by Winton Primary and St Aldhelm’s Schools. Guarded by the dog of one of our Ambassador’s, the pens will be sent off to TerraCycle and made into new plastic. The money raised goes to Research into Brain Tumours.

- Stamps (Poole & District Parkinson’s)
- New beauty/bath/hair products (Dorset Cancer Care)
- Coloured cellophane sweet wrappers (Parkstone Connects)
Plus all the usual items: Toothbrushes (including electric and battery heads) and packaging, toothpaste tubes and packaging, crisp packets, Pringle tubes, biscuit and cake wrappers, cleaning items, ring pulls, ballpoint pens & all writing instruments, plastic milk bottle tops, aluminium foil, and print cartridges.
138 households at Canford Heath Win on Waste 12.1
A total of 138 households, plus 13 hospital departments donated 68 carrier bags of waste at Canford Heath Win on Waste at the Coffee House Cafe on 12 January. The 68 carrier bags will now be helping 13 good causes.

Donations were received from 97 households at Creekmoor Win on Waste on Saturday 12 January at Creekmoor Library. The 34 carrier bags will now be helping 13 good causes.

Corfe Mullen Win on Waste held in Corfe Mullen Library collected items from 50 households plus a business on Saturday 12 January. Their 30 bags will now be helping 11 good causes.
